GG GRANT // Free Accessibility Program

GG Spirit sales fund a free version of Rotus for players with limb loss or functional difficulty.

For us, accessibility is a fundamental engineering debt. The GG Grant program takes Rotus beyond being a commercial product. For our friends experiencing limb loss or functional difficulty in their hands, this technology is entirely free. Proceeds from GG Spirit sales fund this program, letting us remove barriers in gaming with mechanical advantage. If you need this performance, we don't ask for documents — just share your story with us.
WHO CAN APPLY
01  People experiencing hand or finger loss
02  People with motor skill difficulty
03  Family members or caregivers applying on their behalf
04  No documentation required — a brief summary of the situation is enough

OUR STORY // VEDAT, ISTANBUL

I Just Wanted a Real Steering Wheel.

I'm Vedat, founder of Vulu Design. I'm not an engineer — I'm a music producer and DJ. But I'm a rally addict, mostly playing Dirt Rally. Dirt Rally or GTA, it didn't matter — whenever I tried fast, precise maneuvers in a game, I hit the same wall: the standard controller's thumbstick can't give you a real steering wheel's precision, and a full wheel setup is expensive and takes up space. This wasn't just my problem — it's every controller player's problem.
My idea was clear: bring the "pistol-grip" fine-control feel of RC cars to a standard Xbox controller with a cheap, portable add-on — an affordable, practical alternative to sim-racing. I turned a small corner of my Istanbul apartment into a workshop and got to work. I had no design background, no 3D printing experience. With calipers in hand and a few 3D printers around me, I printed 300+ prototypes — gears, bodies, parts I designed specifically for Rotus. Setbacks shelved the project more than once; the back-and-forth development took over three years.
While developing, I noticed something I hadn't expected: the mechanism also let you control the game one-handed — a side effect I never planned. Then a message came from Yusuf: "Because of this I can play games." That message brought the shelved, dormant project back into my hands. Today Rotus is a system that locks onto an Xbox controller magnetically, eliminating analog drift with Ghost architecture and a torque-limiting mechanism. Accessibility was a discovery for me, not the origin — but today it's a real, central part of Rotus and Vulu Design.

FAQ // BEFORE YOU ASK

When will Rotus ship?
The first production run has no confirmed date yet. Everyone on the waitlist gets an email before it opens.
Am I paying anything now?
No. The waitlist takes no payment and creates no obligation. We use it to size the first run and to tell you when it opens.
Which controllers does it fit?
The Xbox Series X controller is supported in production today. Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PS5 versions are in development, with no date yet.
Does it block any buttons?
No. The Ghost architecture sits on the lower-center face of the controller — A/B/X/Y, triggers, bumpers, d-pad and the right stick stay fully accessible.
How does the GG Grant work?
Fill in the application form with a brief summary of your situation. We ask for no documents. GG Spirit sales fund the program, and Rotus is free for the people it covers.
Do you ship outside Turkey?
Rotus is assembled in Istanbul. International shipping is planned for the first run — countries and costs will be announced to the waitlist.
